Antonella Brunello is full time consultant at the Division of Medical Oncology 1 at the Istituto Oncologico Veneto in Padova.
She specialized in Medical Oncology in 2008 and she is currently attending the Ph.D Programme in Oncology and Oncological Surgery at the University of Padova.
Over her career, Dr. Brunello has been committed to medical treatment and clinical research of solid tumors, with particular interest in sarcoma, breast cancer and cancer in the elderly.
Dr. Brunello is currently involved as either principal investigator or co-investigator in clinical and translational research projects in sarcoma, breast cancer and oncogeriatric trials.
She is author of more than 30 papers in peer-reviewed journals, most of them about breast cancer, sarcoma and cancer in the elderly,
She is serving as scientific secretary of the Hematological Toxicity Management Guidelines board of the Italian Association of Medical Oncology (AIOM) since 2012, and has been elected coordinator of the young oncologists of the AIOM Veneto Section from 2013 to date.
