The operating unit deals with the diagnosis and treatment of solid cancers, according to the most advanced national and international standards, and uses a multidisciplinary approach for the diagnosis and treatment of breast, lung, gastrointestinal and genitourinary cancers. Attention is paid to all patient needs in order to obtain the best results in terms of disease control and quality of life.

The various oncological treatments (chemotherapy, hormone therapy, immunotherapy or molecular targeted therapies) are provided through the sharing of multidisciplinary paths, in relation to the type of tumor and the patient’s preference. Continuity of care is also pursued between hospital and local services, especially for symptomatic patients with advanced disease and / or elderly who are not self-sufficient.
