Jessica Menis is a medical oncologist at the Division of Medical Oncology 2 of the Istituto Oncologico Veneto in Padova. She specialized in Clinical Oncology in March 2012 at the University of Udine (Udine, Italy) under the supervision of Prof. Fabio Puglisi, with a thesis on integrated care pathways in thoracic oncology. She then spent four months as clinical fellow at the Thoracic Unit in the University Hospital San Luigi Gonzaga in Orbassano (Turin, Italy) under the supervision of Prof. Silvia Novello and Prof. Giorgio Vittorio Scagliotti. Thereafter she moved to Bruxelles (Belgium) at the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC) where she spent four years (Oct 2012 – Nov 2016) working as Clinical Research Physician for the EORTC Lung Cancer Group and Head and Neck Cancer Group and taking care of the development and conduction of numerous phase II and III clinical trials. From November 2016 until February 2018 she worked as clinical fellow in the Phase I Unit (DITEP) of the Gustave Roussy Cancer Campus Grand Paris (Villejuif, France), directed by prof. Jean-Charles Soria where she was responsible of about 12 phase I clinical trials. At the Istituto Oncologico Veneto she is currently involved in the activities of the lung and phase I team.
